My website has been designed to find my beloved dog who is an English Setter and his name is "Beau" and bring him safely back home. Beau was stolen from our home on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia on 1 July 2003 more than 8 years ago.
I am still searching for Beau even though he is now 11 years old. I am still trying to do what I can to raise awareness about the plight of stolen animals in Australia. Please look closely at my website banner. Beau has his paw up pleading with you to help him come back home !!!!
A dog is Man's Best Friend. A dog will never forget a human he loves, especially when he knows how much this human loves him. I continue to pray that Beau is still alive and he can spend the remainder of his life with me, even though this will be short. He will always be my boy and I will always be his mum.
My website is also dedicated to the memory of my beloved English Setter "Jessie" who died on
1 May 2005 without seeing Beau again. I know that dogs (all animals) feel the same emotions as humans except for negative human emotions like revenge and hatred. Dogs suffer stress and they grieve. Their emotional and behavioural problems are caused by human beings.

The Pet Grief page talks about the joy of Love and the pain of Grief. These feelings are inter-connected. The stronger you love, the stronger will be the pain you suffer in your grief. Unfortunately in our current day society I believe humans have become indifferent to the suffering of others.
Elisabeth Kubler-Ross in her book 'The Wheel of Life' states "the sole purpose of life is to grow. The ultimate lesson is learning how to love and be loved unconditionally."
Those humans who use the word 'anthropomorphism' when discussing the relationship between a human and a dog have little understanding of a dog or any animal. When this word was coined in the 1700s I do not believe it was meant to be used the way it is used today. Until humans realise that an animal deserves the same respect as a human, animal cruelty will never cease.
Humans forget the great contribution animals make to our lives when they say: "It's only a dog (all animals)".
Diane Stein in her book 'Natural Healing for Dogs and Cats' states "the sickness of the Earth is reflected in the dis-eases of people and animals, and animals in their oneness with the Earth are hurt sooner than humans and are more helpless."
Mahatma Gandhi believed that "the greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated".
It is a national disgrace that absolutely nothing is being done to even discourage the stealing of dogs (all animals) and nothing is being done to stop irresponsible dog owners from keeping lost dogs they find without making any attempt to locate the legal owner of the dog (all animals). This also constitutes stealing.
I believe if you cannot respect an animal or the natural environment in which you live you cannot respect a human. We all live on this Earth together, whether we like it or not.
I feel the time has come for humans to give back unconditionally to the animals and the natural environment and stop taking for themselves.
A philosophy of the Cree Native American Indians is .. "Only after the last tree has been cut down. Only after the last fish has been caught. Only after the last river has been poisoned. Only then will you realise that money cannot be eaten". It is a shame that so many humans in society today have chosen to forget this truth.
